As the final hours of 2025 wind down, I’m reminded of one or two writing projects on this year’s to-do list that didn’t make it across the finish line as planned. But rather than waste a good holiday thinking about unfinished business, I choose to focus on what did get published: two 10K-word short stories, a 2K-word essay and several magazine articles.
That which did not get done will get done. And the list of new projects for 2026 is already looking pretty ambitious, so stay tuned as we head into January, February and beyond.
In the meantime, I send out my best wishes to all for a Happy New Year and a productive and prosperous 2026!
