The proces of packing and loading has begun. In less than 24 hours I’ll be on the road to Pittsburgh with my Flinch Books partner Jim Beard for Pulpfest 2025.
The festivities get under way on Thursday, August 7, and continue through mid-day Sunday, August 10. We’ll be in the dealer room all weekend with all sixteen titles in our Flinch catalog, and I’ll have copies of various other non-Flinch anthologies that feature my stories and essays. In addition, I’ll be participating in not one but two afternoon sessions back-to-back on Friday afternoon, August 8.

Since my first experience of Pulpfest in 2009, it has become a summer tradition that I look forward to every year.
Advance registration for the convention is closed at this point, but if you’re anywhere in or around the Pittsburgh area this weekend, you can still register at the door, even if just for a one-day visit on Friday or Saturday. Stop in and say hi. I’m always interested in meeting readers and making friends!
